Reformer Pilates is a full body workout that uses a piece of equipment and has a cushioned rectangular bed or carriage. This bed or carriage is attached to springs, which creates spring loaded resistance for a wide variety of exercises that are low impact, making it a suitable form of exercise for most people.
What are the benefits of reformer?
When attending reformer classes consistently, students will begin to notice an improvement in their overall strength, posture, coordination, mobility and core control.
Which class should I book into?
Beginner: This level is ideal for students who are still relatively new to reformer Pilates and have not completed many classes. We work on developing our foundational strength and core control at this level.
Intermediate: This class is our most challenging level. Intermediate classes require a higher level of coordination and stability, whilst exercises become more complex and will test your strength. We ask that students have completed a few beginner classes before joining an intermediate class.
Privates: We also offer private 1 on 1 sessions or simply bring a friend or 2 to enjoy a workout together. These sessions are great for those who prefer tailored exercises for specific conditions or injuries and are also suitable for pregnant individuals.
